This intake sounds way better than stock whether the lid is on or off. Obviously its quieter with the lid on but its still noticeable. Lid off you can hear a very audible whoooosh when ripping it and I guarantee it will make you smile. Install wasn't bad at all, just take your time and everything will work out.
27WON is really changing the game with the quality of the parts they're making for these cars and I look forward to installing more of their products on my Si.

Why waste your time with other radiators when you get this very sleek and well made designed triple pass radiator. During track testing at Streets of Willow (CW) 80F Ambient consistent of 1:25 times, coolant was staying well around 196F-200F on 1 cold lap and 3 hot laps. Mind you I am making more power from the last time I came to the track and it still cools better than the last radiator I had installed. Including with the transmission cooler, this has kept me at a peace of mind especially with a turbo civic can get really hot. This is the RADIATOR you should get to be end of all other radiators.

Fellow Civic friends, purchased this kit and have to say though pricey for what it is, it is excellent as you'd expect OEM to be. It adds a nice personalization and pop to my white 2018 sedan. Factory instructions are a bit unclear. Some advice, for the rear trim piece the H emblem connects two, be aware there are TWO greyish beige plugs you need to release from INSIDE the trunk. The rest pop off from the outside. The front also needs to have the bumper come off, but it's not a bad job at all. I upgraded my horn while in there from the meep to a normal and heard tone. Unity is a great place to get stuff and I've been extremely happy with them. Dave
