The Acuity shift boot collar upgrade allows for virtually any design shift knob to fit flush with your shift boot. Within this kit there are 2 binding nuts, one which is meant for flat-bottomed knobs (similar to the Type R shift knob), and the other for more narrow-bottomed knobs.
Due to the fact this shift boot collar is made out of billet aluminum, gone are the days when you worry about breaking the OEM plastic boot ring when removing your shift knob.
The supplied binding nuts are turned and milled from stainless steel and have flats for a 12mm open-ended wrench. The boot collar is made from 6061 billet aluminum and receives a tasteful anodized/sandblasted finish before laser etching.

I love these!! So easy to install and it looks great!
I had an aftermarket shift knob (Tall Teardrop from billetworkz), and it never sat flush with the oem shift collar. Now, it finally sits flush and looks like it is meant to be in the car.
Easily one of the best mods for my Type S. It makes swapping shift knobs a breeze and also visually ties the shifter area together very nicely. No more trying to mess with the factory shift collar which is a pain to remove.
The parts are very well made and installation is quick and easy with basic hand tools. Even if you do no mods to your car, this is a cheap upgrade which will make future work on the shifter area much easier.
One of the many things I’ve purchased through Unity and I’m always very impressed!
The purple collar was an easy install and goes perfectly with my shifter boot and my shifter knob!
