Adam's 2018 Civic Si
By the time Adam joined the Unity circle, we'd already spent a lot of time around the Si platform through Humza's, Thusee's, and Shahvan's builds. Those cars laid the foundation for our hands-on experience with the 10th Gen Civic chassis — but Adam's 2018 Civic Si HFP Coupe brought something completely different into the mix.
This was never a simple wheels-suspension-bolt-ons kind of Si. The car really started to progress in 2022, and from there it moved further and further away from being a regular street car.
The coupe started life as an HFP Si, but the exterior's been completely transformed with FK8 Type R front fenders, FK8 side skirts, rear over-fenders, and a front bumper inspired by the FK8 TCR race cars. The result is a much wider, more aggressive version of the 10th Gen Si Coupe — something that blends Honda's street car DNA with proper touring car influence.
What makes Adam's Si stand out is how far it pushes the chassis without losing the original identity of the car. It's still clearly a Civic Si Coupe, but the FK8 and TCR-inspired elements give it a much more serious presence. It's the kind of build that could only come from years of being around these platforms and constantly asking, "what else can we do with this?"
Adam's Si became more than just another Civic in the group — it added a new level of creativity to the Unity lineup and gave us another platform to learn from, test with, and showcase what's possible when a build goes beyond the usual formula.
While the Type R builds may have taken things to another level later on, cars like Adam's 2018 Si HFP Coupe were a major part of the journey. Alongside the earlier Si builds, it helped shape the community, the product knowledge, and the direction Unity Performance continues to build on.
