This flywheel allows you to run a 17+ Civic Type R (FK8) clutch disc and pressure plate in your 1.5T Si or any 1.5T manual equipped car. With factory FK8 clutches holding over 400FT/LB of torque and available at any dealer. This is a great option for those that want upgrade without a leg workout. This flywheel also allows you to run the plethora of upgraded aftermarket FK8 clutches and pressure plates for those looking to push the limits.

    Optional: add the KzCMC to role out any possibilities of high RPM shifting lockout from Stage 0 Kits. Stage 1 and 2 may still experience some level of lockout.

    Optional: add the PRL Stainless Steel-braided clutch line for a solid, firm pedal feel.

    Stock clutch is garbage in comparison

    2024 Civic Si (stage 0 - included SS clutch line) - I started hitting a wall on performance gains as the stock clutch was slipping at the higher power levels, I also wasn't too crazy about how spongy and vague the clutch felt when driving around normally. It just seemed to take forever to fully engage and wasn't as consistent as I'd have liked.

    This thing though, holy crap. The difference was immediately noticeable. It grabs right away and fully engages very quickly, and it's consistent. Starting in 1st is way, way smoother, and 1st to 2nd is butter. I was shocked at how much of an improvement this is, so much so that I think Honda made a mistake not putting in the same clutch as the Type R right from the factory.

    Whether you need this so you can push the power further or not, it's an essential upgrade, regardless of your plans for performance mods, if you do any at all. Seriously, it's just that good.

    RV6 Flywheel + Stage 0 clutch kit

    Got this as a repair/upgrade for my 2020 Civic, got the job done ourselves, which I would only recommend to those with a good space to work in and at least one person around who knows what they're doing. New clutch feels absolutely amazing, very bitty and confidence inspiring and the lighter flywheel just further enhances the effects of a flash, engine is way more responsive, the car is less juddery at slow speeds and the clutch pedal doesn't feel that much harder (at least to me) so it won't be torture when stuck in Montreal traffic.
    Would recommend.

    I honestly can't figure out why this Si didn't come with this clutch from factory.

    Thanks Ryan! That's part of the premium that Honda charges to get you into a Type R; it's a brilliant solution by RV6 to have created this retrofit kit.

    Flywheel + Exeedy FK8 Stage 0 Clutch Kit

    After a gruelling ~1,600 km break-in period (I had an unfortunate habit of going in one direction too long to the point I'd send myself into the countryside instead of cruising around the city) the clutch pedal felt marginally stiffer but overall much more responsive. The biting point feels more like a point rather than a biting range with a bite you can feel. The lighter flywheel helps the revs rise and fall quicker but not by an absurd amount, the perfect amount for spirited driving.
