Had a well known mechanic install these along with a drop in turbo. So far so good, no issues 🙌.

Excellent quality and even better performance. I ran the PRL for about 9k miles and the vibration and motor movement were worse. The Cobb has about the same nvh as the oem maybe slightly more but I’m definitely impressed

The HKS strut brace is one of those upgrades that reminds you why chassis mods matter, even on a car as dialed in as the Type R & Type S. With an already stiff front end from the factory, this HKS bar adds another layer of precision that you can actually feel behind the wheel.

It looks like a premium piece when you pop the hood—more “OEM‑plus” than aftermarket flash. Clean and uniform, lightweight but noticeably rigid, brackets line up perfectly… oh and I installed this on my 21 FK8..

Installation was straightforward and easy. IF you’re installing on the FK8, there are 2 tabs that need trimming on the thin aluminum air duct attached to the hood to avoid it from hitting the bar. I expected something to need adjustments since this was for the FL5/DE5, and that was it. Nothing detrimental.

Driving Impressions: Sharper turn in, better mid corner stability (especially on uneven pavement) & steering feels more connected and predictable. This is my 4th strut bar… and it by far had a noticeable impact over other brands, which was unexpected because “it’s just a strut bar right?”

It’s not the cheapest brace on the market, but you get what you pay for. As you can tell, I very much appreciate the aesthetic and attention to detail. This bar was the icing on the cake to finish up my build.

I did have to wait quite a long time, since I was probably one of few who would spend that kind of money for a brand new product not available in the US or even for my model. However Humza & Unity Performance were up front regarding delivery times and stayed in communication with me every step of the way.

Well worth the wait.
