The "ABE" is the more road-friendly seat that flares out at the hips to allow the passengers more space and thus become the more comfortable option versus the FIA seat. This does mean that you don't get the FIA homologation sticker for club-level motorsports use, but you still have enough bolstering to hold you in for street, canyon, and open circuit track days.
