The Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Shift Knob, complete with the signature "M" logo will add a subtle, clean accent to your interior while providing a comfortable feel in your hand as you shift from gear to gear. Each shift knob includes three M18 X 1.5 plastic inserts for multiple application fitment.
This shift knob has been on our Blue Si for 3 years now, and its quality has proven to be true. The clear coat has held up, no fading or yellowing on the carbon, and its ergonomic design has provided many great shifts. The Mishimoto Carbon shift knob compliments really well with the Unity Performance Carbon Fiber, Hydrocarbon, and Matte Carbon fiber steering wheel.

Gets the job done. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight when it arrived, and with so many variants, this takes the cake in affordability and performance. It feels natural to shift. While Unity has had theirs for 3+ years with the clear coat still holding strong, I applied a sealant and UV protection for longevity. Biggest factor is thermal resistance. While I had my eyes set on others that were metal, I didn't want to deal with discomfort in summer heat in the U.S. south, and I work a labor job, so I'd rather not ruin leather. Function over aesthetics, to a degree. Pair this with the BEST short shifter alternative that Unity so intelligently offers (OEM 2020+ type r shifter with acuity rocker, spring, base bushings) and also add the acuity shifter cable bushings and Hybrid Racing detent springs - for the street/spirited driver, probably one of the best investments to make for that "feel", and at still a fraction of cost of a top shelf product. Kudos, keep offering things akin to this concept and take my money.

Love this shift knob, it is made out of carbon fibre so ambient temperatures do not have much of an effect on this shift knob compared to my previous metal knob. I also prefer the shape over the spherical shapes and find the weight to be perfect for feeling feedback from the shifter itself.
