Boundary manufactures every oil pump gear entirely in-house at their Dallas, Texas facility, starting with chromoly billets that are quenched from extreme heat and tempered into a tough, essentially indestructible core. After machining, their proprietary ColdFlow surface hardening process finishes each gear to a mirror finish — the combination gives you a pump that stays stable well past 9000 RPM and has proven itself on builds making over 1000 whp.

Higher-boost, higher-RPM builds put real stress on the stock oil pump gear, and gear failure at those levels means catastrophic engine damage. Boundary's gears are built specifically to eliminate that failure point, with tighter tolerances than stock for better efficiency and less friction throughout the oiling system.
