A twin-tube damper design is the heart of what makes this kit livable on the street — compared to a mono-tube setup, it delivers a longer stroke with less repulsive force, so you get a smoother ride over rough pavement at low speed while staying composed and stable at higher speeds. Ride height adjusts via a simple thread-type lower spring seat, and because the kit uses your Civic's original upper mounts, installation stays straightforward.
