_______

If you're looking for an aggressive drop on your FK8, and reduce your car's body roll for spirited and track driving then thee Swift Spec-R are right for you! Comfort will feel like Sport, and Sport like +R. +R will then be best suited for really smooth or track use, unless you're just hardcore like that and ride in +R mode all the time!

From HPDE events to SCCA competition, Swift Spec-R Sport Springs are made for the track enthusiast looking to take their vehicle to the next level.

Swift Spec-R Sport Springs were engineered with 3 characteristics in mind. Modified ride height compared to Sport Springs to maximize optimal suspension geometry. Further increasing the spring rate to enhance overall performance. The increase in spring rate is based on the upper limits of the vehicles factory shock valving. Maintaining optimal comfort level for street use.

Spec R springs are wound with the same engineering and material as our sports springs. With the exception of stiffer rates and slight change in ride height; you can expect the same characteristics as our sports springs.

  • Front Spring Rate: 6.3 kg/mm
  • Rear Spring Rate: 7.4 kg/mm
  • Front Drop: -1.0"
  • Rear Drop: -1.0"

Swift Spec-R Sport Springs Review

I bought these looking to improve the handling and minimize the bounciness of my CTR on the track. Hired somebody to install these as I don't have the tool or expertise to install them on my own. After installation the fenders did require trimming on all 4 sides else there will be rubbing on a 18x9.5 +36 wheel with 265/35/18 tires. Took about a month for the springs to settle to their permanent ride height. Regardless, the car feels a lot more planted and I can take corners with a higher speed with confidence. Looks great and no creaking or weird noises after install and three track days. Daily driving is not a issue with the lower spring either and livable.
