The PRL Tube-and-Fin Intercooler Upgrade uses an advanced tube-and-fin core that promotes rapid heat transfer with thinner walls and better airflow, giving more efficient charge air cooling at higher speeds than a traditional bar-and-plate design. Lightweight CNC-machined billet aluminum end tanks and optimized internal geometry cut thermal mass while keeping flow strong, supporting consistent, stable cooling during extended track sessions or spirited road use. At 14.4 lbs, it's roughly 35% lighter than PRL's 22.2 lb bar-and-plate intercooler.

For extended track sessions or sustained spirited driving, PRL's black thermal dispersant coating pulls heat from localized hot spots and spreads it more evenly across the core's surface, so more of it actively releases heat into the airflow. That means better thermal consistency and faster recovery between hard pulls, plus added corrosion resistance and surface protection — the most stable, consistent cooling option in PRL's lineup.

The kit retains OEM-style sealing and includes all hardware needed for installation.
