Unibody chassis like the Civic's are comfortable, reliable, and lightweight — but that same design is inherently compliant under heavy lateral load, which works against you at the limit. PRL's Mid-Rear Chassis Brace bolts into multiple structural points along the frame rails on both sides of the rear wheel line, locking down chassis movement across the central portion of the vehicle for more connected handling and easier corner rotation. It's designed to complement PRL's Rear Chassis Brace as part of a complete bracing system, rather than duplicate it.

The brace bars are constructed from 304 stainless steel and TIG welded for strength and longevity, and every fitting, adapter, and piece of Grade 10.9 mounting hardware is stainless as well — built to hold up to harsh conditions without corroding over time.
