The R400 was purpose-built to fill the gap between Invidia's quieter Q300 and their louder N1 system — a genuinely aggressive note without the harsh cabin drone at highway speed that a lot of loud exhausts suffer from. Years of muffler engineering went into balancing unrestricted flow against sound dampening, so you get a pronounced exhaust note across the entire RPM band as a cat-back system alone, not just at wide-open throttle.
