The factory shifter cables use plastic swivel support tubes that are known to break over time, and that flex is a big part of why a well-used Civic starts to feel sloppy between gears. Hybrid Racing's cables replace that plastic with upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes and stainless steel push rods, backed by solid rod ends, a permanently lubricated core, and spherical bearings for a firmer, tighter connection between your hand and the transmission.

The result is fewer missed shifts and a shifter that feels genuinely connected to the chassis, especially under hard, demanding use. All rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, black anodized, and laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo.
