Hybrid Racing's Maxim knob started with a simple problem: most shift knobs look good but aren't actually comfortable to hold. After countless design iterations and 3D prints, they landed on a shape chosen specifically for ergonomics - how it actually sits in your palm, not just how it photographs.

Machined from solid 6061 aluminum billet on a four-axis lathe, the surface gets a proprietary sandblasting treatment for a clean finish before a 3-step anodizing process locks in the Dust colorway. The fitment size and logo are laser-etched with a YAG laser that evaporates the dye from the anodized surface, leaving a crisp white logo placed subtly enough not to distract from the finish.
