HKS's Hipermax R Series concentrates nine years of development since the original Max IV SP into a coilover that pushes handling, traction, and ease of fit further than the line has gone before. A mono-tube damper design gives more accurate, stable control over damping while lowering ride height and center of gravity for a more planted feel, and 30 levels of damping adjustment let you fine-tune the setup for street driving, winding roads, highway cruising, or full circuit use.

A pillow-ball upper mount sharpens steering response, while a newly designed needle valve refines both very-low-speed and mid-to-high-speed damping for a genuinely comfortable ride alongside the performance gains. PNE-coated adjustment threads resist buildup for easier height adjustment over time — 5x more durable than standard galvanizing — and aluminum brackets, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts cut unsprung weight where the vehicle allows.
