Previously had been using drilled and slotted rotors but cracked two of them at the track. Decided to give these a try--had to up my fluid to Castrol SRF and ended up with more aggressive pads, but once that was dialed in (along with titanium shims) I was able to do full days at Buttonwillow being hard on the brakes without fade. For the money I think these are the best value in rotors that hold up to repeated track use. I'm going to give the DBA slotted ones a try to see if I can find any additional performance, but I suspect I'll be back with the EBC blanks before too long depending on how the DBA stuff holds up.
The black coating wore off instantly, but they looked really cool for about 10 minutes after I first installed them.
