We have installed this exact unit in our UNITYCTR FK8 shop car, and it has worked flawlessly over 3 years! The thought of leaving our vehicle without the ability to have footage from any moment in between each drive, not just short-length recordings if there is an impact detected feels unsafe as the FK8 is not only an expensive car but it has a lot of expensive modifications done to it! The example below illustrates a visible unit plugged into the 12V, we have ours neatly tucked away near the fuse panel near the driver's footwell, it does not affect/interfere with the pedals.
The B-112 provides enough power to charge most electronic accessories (not only phones but also larger battery accessories like tablets).
