The FL5 Civic Type R's front fenders introduce open vents for aerodynamics, but a design flaw lets road debris pass straight through and chew up the side panels behind them. High-end performance OEMs solve this by integrating mesh into aero features like this, and ALPLUS built the Aero Guard to give the FL5 the same protection.

The design uses an optimal open-air ratio to preserve Honda's intended airflow performance while still blocking debris. Each guard is laser-cut with 364 hexagonal holes in a lightweight aluminum mesh that mirrors the FL5's original design language, and mounts with an improved Honda OEM clip for exact factory fitment.
