If you've got an FL5 that you feel is a little too stiff for your liking, the Adaptive Damping System (ADS) Module from the Integra Type S DE5 may be the solution for you!

This is a plug n' play swap that will soften each mode a tad to make your ride more compliant than the factory setup. It's a 5-minute swap, 10 if you're being extra careful and requires no other programming. No error lights at all.

Essential Mod for your FL5 CTR!

I always felt like the FL5 CTR's suspension was a bit overdamped from the factory. +R mode was always too stiff, but now with this DE5 ADS module installed, the ride is much smoother. I have other suspension mods in place, but overall, I am pleased with the modul. If you have any questions. don't hesitate to contact Humza! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about this platform, and it shows!

Works great.

The part finally got through US Customs and I installed it in about 30 minutes (very easy as shown in the video). Noticable improvement in Comfort setting, but still plenty sporty. Definitely recommend if it's your daily driver and the roads aren't smooth as glass.

Glad you have the DE5 ADS installed in your FL5 now, it is a must-have mod. Honda should really take note, and make it standard equipment on the FL5! Until then, we'll help everyone get these - in fact, people have posted better track lap times with these since the car is more manageable over bumps.

Game changer

I commute about 130 miles a day, mostly freeway. However it is winter rn so there are pot holes and a LOT of road construction. The Acura mapped ADS makes the comfort setting absolutely perfect for daily driving. 90% of the time I am in Individual mode with all settings to sport except suspension, that is in comfort mode. This is a 10 min install for a much improved ride. +R now feels like it has some compliance vs bouncing all over the place. IMO, best OEM+ mod you can make.

Nathan, really appreciate you sharing your thoughts! It's a must-have for sure - we did this on our FL5 early on, wouldn't go back to the stock unit anytime soon.

Must have upgraded

The FL5 damping is awful for country roads. After swapping the ADS unit my wife is much more willing to go on long trips in the car. Previously I would not use R mode now I use it all the time.

Must get for daily driver

Soaks up bumpy roads way better in Comfort mode, and car jumps way less. Install was quick and easy.
