Between the turbo and intercooler on your FL5 or DE5 sit two factory rubber boost tubes and a throttle body coupler, a known factory weak point for boost leaks and chased-down check engine lights. The factory EPDM rubber is too soft and flexible; over repeated heat cycles it breaks down and softens further, then expands under boost, which means more lag and less boost pressure actually making it where it needs to go.

27WON's upgrade kit replaces all three pieces with 5-ply reinforced silicone, further strengthened with wire integrated into the material for added strength while still allowing proper flex for engine movement. Silicone isn't affected by UV radiation and holds up far better to the 300°F+ air coming out of the turbo, lasting roughly 4x longer than rubber in similar conditions. The kit rounds out with sturdy stainless steel T-bolt clamps in place of the factory clamps, dropping in for an easy install in under an hour with 27WON's included step-by-step instructions.
