Honda's factory intercooler on the 11th-gen 1.5T was sized for roughly 200hp, and it becomes a real bottleneck the moment you push past that. 27WON built this FMIC specifically to eliminate that limitation - a genuinely complete kit that includes the intercooler core, full charge piping, and reinforced silicone boost tubes, so there's nothing else to source separately.

The core itself is 41% larger by volume than stock (18% taller, 20% longer), with cast end tanks that integrate airfoils to distribute airflow evenly across the entire core - something billet end tanks can't replicate - plus heat sinks that measured a 9°F additional temperature drop in testing. In independent testing, intake air temps dropped from an average of 311°F pre-intercooler down to roughly 95°F post-intercooler, and pressure drop measured under 1 psi versus roughly double that on the OEM core - meaning less turbo strain and faster spool.

Strapped to 27WON's own FE1 Si and Integra A-Spec test cars with no tuning changes (only a cat-back exhaust as the other mod), the FMIC alone added +20 wtq and +15 whp around 4100 RPM, with gains carrying through everywhere past 3400 RPM on less boost than stock. A custom tune unlocks even more from there.

Boost tubes use 4-ply reinforced silicone with integrated wire reinforcement, rated well over 500whp on the hot side. Stainless T-bolt clamps, nuts, bolts, and brackets are all included for a complete, organized install.
