Requires bumper removal on all applicable trims, plus removing or trimming the OEM radiator ducting - full instructions included. Acura Integra owners will also need to trim a bumper mounting bracket and relocate or remove one of the two horns. Fully reversible on Civic with no trace left behind; on Integra, the small bumper bracket modification will be nearly invisible if you go back to stock.

Honda's factory intake ducting varies quite a bit by trim - some trims like EX and A-Spec get a fairly limited air channel, while the Si gets a small factory snorkel with basic plastic ducting. 27WON went bigger than anything Honda offers across the lineup, with an S-curved duct shape designed specifically to avoid the hard bends and sharp turns that create turbulence, keeping airflow into your intake as smooth as possible.

In testing, the snorkel showed intake air temperature drops averaging 4-5°F across multiple runs and varying speeds, with peaks up to 20°F under the right conditions - results will vary by climate and driving conditions, but lower IATs are a genuine win against heat soak.
