This plate covers the timing chain tensioner on the timing cover.

The factory plate is made from a thin piece of stamped steel and is sealed with RTV, it is very easy to accidentally bend it when removing it and it must be removed to access the timing chain tensioner.

Our plate is machined from billet aluminum and utilizes a robust gasket to seal in lieu of RTV! Far easier to remove and replace than the factory piece without any possibility of bending it.
