The Wunderladen Retrofit Clutch Kit uses an Action Clutch flywheel that pairs with an OEM Exedy Type R clutch and pressure plate to create a 1.5T clutch kit that will handle 400+ horsepower without sacrificing any daily driver friendliness compared to a factory clutch setup.

The Action Clutch flywheel is machined from chromoly steel, making it an extremely solid and robust flywheel that is significantly lighter than the factory dual mass flywheel, but not so light that the factory ECU can get confused and throw misfire codes like with super light aluminum flywheels. This allows the engine to rev faster and be far more responsive during throttle transitions. The strength of the chromoly also ensures long life of the friction face and that it can withstand high power without failure. It also utilizes a flywheel bolt lock ring which ensures that flywheel bolts won't back out after they're torqued. This flywheel only works with Type R factory fitment clutch kits.

YOU MUST INSTLALL THE INCLUDED SPACER UNDER THE PIVOT BALL FOR THE CLUTCH FORK OR YOU WILL HAVE SHIFTING ISSUES!

The Exedy clutch we pair it with is the OEM unit for a Type R. This larger disc provides greater surface area for the clutch to grab with, creating a higher torque holding capability. When combined with the OEM pressure plate this creates a clutch package that can hold significantly more power and torque than the factory clutch while still having a very low effort and easy to modulate clutch pedal.

This kit has every last piece you need to do a clutch install, on top of all of the above mentioned pieces it also includes; a new release bearing, all new bolts, a billet steel clutch alignment tool (superior centering alignment compared to cheap plastic alignment tools makes it easier to get you transmission mated to the engine), our flywheel locking tool (to hold the flywheel in place while you torque the flywheel bolts), and lastly a packet of grease for the input shaft and clutch splines.
