Despite watching the Verus YouTube guide and having ALL the tools and then some, this probably took me 1-2 hours to do. It took 20 minutes alone with a Dremel to cut the handle free from an extra Honda dipstick that I bought. A heat gun did nothing. The rest of the install was also a nightmare, highlighted with the attempted install of the friction pin. PRO-TIPS: Buy a spare Honda dipstick to work on, they are cheap. Make sure you carefully remove your original O-rings. Cut the metal dipstick exactly so the hole lines up with the handle when FULLY inserted. Then run a 5/64 drill bit through the entire hole assembly first. Then pinch the friction pin so it is sharper at one end. I literally ended up using metal file to sharpen and take the pin down to size, after reefing on it with all manner of pliers, vices, etc.. When you install the handle, if you want it to align with the metal dipstick, use your JB Weld or Red threadlocker and insert the M4 screw rod into the handle only so far as required for the lower portion to twist on and come to perfect alignment. It is possible that the hole on my K20C2 dipstick may be slightly smaller than the K20C1 dipstick, so I will acknowledge that you may find that slightly easier. But I doubt it. They should sell the whole dipstick assembly and forget this self-install stuff.
