The Tein Street Basis Z is the entry-level coilover option for the FK7 Civic Hatch — built with the same high-quality materials as the Advance Z and Flex Z, but at a more accessible price point. After testing the Flex Z on our own 2018 Si for nearly two years including winter use, we're confident in Tein's build quality and durability across all driving conditions.

The Street Basis Z uses the vehicle's original upper mounts for a straightforward installation, and features thread-type ride height adjustment via the lower spring seat. Twin-tube construction provides sufficient stroke and low friction for a supple, comfortable ride on rough surfaces.
