PRL High Volume Intake (HVI) | 23+ Civic Type R FL5, 23+ Integra Type S DE5

First mod. Wasn’t too hard to install, just took time. Made a notable difference in the sound and was in awe first time I heard it. When I take people on a ride for the first time, love the sound.

Coordinated with my mechanic for the install and found out they gave me the wrong part. When I ordered I msgd them to verify stock and they said they had several boxes of this intake in stock at their Scarborough location. Went to pickup and no one was there at 11 when they’re supposed to open. Waited till 1130 and then someone showed up. They gave me an unmarked brown box that was already opened. I asked why it was open and they said they wanted to verify it was the correct part and all pieces were inside the box properly. I was already in a rush becuase I had to wait half an hour after their open time to get the part and had no reason not to trust them, so I took the box and went to my mechanic. Removed my stock intake and went to install what they gave me but the parts didn’t match up, it wasn’t the right intake for my vehicle. Had to pay my mechanic for his time and reinstall the stock intake. Owner came to swap for the correct parts two days later and gave me an unopened branded box from PRL. I asked why they didn’t give me one of the unopened box from the beginning and there wasn’t any explanation. Having the owner arrange to swap the correct parts a couple days later was appreciated but the whole thing was still a bad experience overall

On my stock FL5, I noticed a big jump in sound and an increase in performance. Now, every pull with the PRL HVI feels like the first pull on a cold day with the stock intake. Despite everything heat soaking, you still get pushed into your seat hard.

Only downside is my poor tires are suffering from my foot suddenly getting way heavier.

Thank Unity Performance from ordering process to updates and the intake was three days early and it was delivered to the back door as the front was by the road. The product is better than I was expecting, Fit perfectly plus there was large Unity Performance and PRL stickers and a PRL lanyard!!!!!!

Very happy with this purchase. Install was relatively straight forward did it in my driveway in about an hour. Managed to get it done without removing ECU just had to maneuver it a bit. Sounds amazing and delivers great satisfaction to the driving experience. As usual Humza and the unity team were great to deal with
