Any time you're removing the front pipe — for a downpipe install, turbo work, or general maintenance — you need a fresh gasket to seal it back up properly. PRL's front pipe gasket is stamped from Klinger GRAPHITE LAMINATE SLS, a material built specifically to hold a reliable seal on exhaust flanges across a wide temperature range, including the high heat close to the turbo.

The graphite layers are bonded to a thin stainless steel foil core using a tightly controlled adhesive process, giving the gasket excellent chemical and high-temperature resistance while staying flexible enough to conform to irregular or slightly imperfect flange surfaces — sealing reliably even on flanges that have seen some wear.
