PRL's upgraded charge pipe kit steps up inner diameter on both sides — hot side to 2.00" from the factory 1.50", cold side to 2.5" from 1.5" — for increased airflow, while keeping the factory hot-side outlet diameter to aid turbocharger spool. 4-ply silicone couplers replace the factory rubber hoses throughout, for good reason: we've melted the factory rubber hose more than once on our own shop car during track days. Silicone handles turbocharger heat far better, resists the expansion and weakening that leads to boost leaks over time, and molds into smoother, higher-flowing bends than rigid metal tubing allows — with better real-world fitment than factory, especially alongside an aftermarket radiator.
