HKS built its reputation as one of Japan's most respected tuning houses, and the Legamax Premium cat-back brings that pedigree to the FK8 without asking you to live with a harsh, fatiguing drone. Running 3" from the front pipe all the way back before splitting into dual mufflers, it exits through dual 3.8" tips finished in burnt titanium — a stance that looks every bit as serious as it sounds.

Despite the larger piping, the full 304 stainless system weighs in at just under 40 lbs — essentially identical to your factory Type R exhaust — so you're not adding unnecessary weight for the upgrade. Sound stays controlled rather than obnoxious: expect roughly 67 decibels at idle versus the OEM's 58, and around 88 decibels at the top end versus 82 stock, measured with the factory downpipe and front pipe in place.
