Garrett's Powermax direct-fit intercooler installs in about 3 hours, reusing your stock bolts, hoses, and clamps - a genuine drop-in upgrade with a core 90% larger than stock. CFD-optimized end tanks improve airflow distribution through the core, and back-to-back wind tunnel dyno testing (air velocity matched to vehicle speed) showed gains up to 17 whp and 14 lb-ft over OE.

The thermal difference is where this intercooler really separates itself. Under repeated dyno pulls, the stock intercooler's outlet temperature climbed steadily, hitting 150°F heat soak by the 8th run. The Garrett unit's outlet temp stayed remarkably stable, barely climbing above ambient (75°F) and reaching only 90°F heat soak by the 4th run - a 60°F reduction in heat soak temperature. Cooler, denser intake air means more power and less thermal stress on the engine.
