Released in 2019, the DS3.12 is the top of Ferodo's DS line — built for cars carrying more power, stickier tires, and higher curb weights than ever, all of which put serious demands on a brake system. Of every pad compound tested, DS3.12 shows the flattest torque curve across the broadest temperature range, meaning pedal feel stays nearly identical from the first lap to the last. It also has a higher coefficient of friction than Ferodo's other compounds, so less pedal pressure is needed to get the response you want, and it shows essentially no fade at any temperature the brakes will realistically see. Dyno testing has shown superior wear rates over Ferodo's other compounds while staying kind to rotors.
