The DS2500 is one of the best hybrid street/track pads on the market — moderately high bite and solid fade resistance like a track pad, with the low dust and noise of a street pad. It's known for an unusually flat torque curve, so as temperatures climb the pedal feel stays consistent instead of going soft or grabby. If you drive aggressively on the street, do the occasional canyon run or autocross, and want a pad that can also handle light track duty on street tires without needing a swap, the DS2500 is tough to beat. Some squeal is possible in daily street use on certain platforms — a normal tradeoff for a pad with this much track capability.
