EBC's RP-1 is built for cars driven hard on track, with a moderately high friction coefficient of 0.45 across 100-750°C (200-1400°F). Its more progressive response makes it well suited to inherently over-servoed brake systems, where a slightly softer pad gives you more finesse and control at the pedal.
