Created from a solid billet piece of stainless steel, keeping the original shape in the FK8 facelift and FL5 gear knob size of the standard gear knob yet increasing the weight to improve gear throw and feel when shifting between gears.
After testing several weights of gear knob we came up with a gear knob that weighs 305g more than stock and found that this gives the best increase in feel.
Precision engraved with the standard shift pattern with larger numerals for clarity.
This shift knob uses the same threading as what is on the factory component, making for a quick and easy upgrade on your shifting, The knob will also fit all other Honda models using (M10x1.5).
We have paid particular attention to the finishing of the knobs with PVD coatings applied for a quality look, feel, and durability, keeping with the Type R ethos.

I recently had this knob installed as part of a shifter upgrade. I must say, the extra weight of this knob when paired with the acuity full shifter kit performs exceptionally well. The stiffness of the acuity shifter can feel overwhelming if you’ve only ever driven with the flimsy stock shifter. The added weight of this knob helps overcome the stiffness and makes gear changes easier to perform.
This knob is not insulated so be mindful in extreme temperatures.
Overall even outside of having an acuity shift kit, the added weight combined with the FK8 style shape adds a lot to the shifting experience. I would highly recommend! :)
This is a must for Integra Type S. The shifts are now more crisp and premium. Happy about my purchase.

Another great shift knob by Dream Automotive - the stainless knobs from Dream always have incredible lustre... the metal practically glows with light. Note this one is very heavy, mine measures 533g (1.1 pounds)... so if that is your preference, then this is your knob! With the flair at the bottom, this knob will look best when paired with a conventional shift boot (vs. running with no boot).
