This is a genuine OEM water pipe for the K20C1, finished with Dream Automotive's hard lagging process to protect it from turbo and downpipe heat-soak right out of the box — no separate wrap or shield needed after install. Insulation material is wrapped directly around the pipe, then a metallic skin is micro spot-welded over it to seal everything in place.

That metallic skin does double duty as part of the thermal barrier itself, giving the finished pipe resistance up to 1200°C — real, lasting protection rather than a wrap that degrades after a season of heat cycling.
