The GT-S sits between the street-focused GT and the track-oriented GT-R, built to bridge that price and performance gap rather than force a choice between the two. It uses the same 6-piston cast monobloc calipers with Brembo's heritage branding, but with a recessed boot design and stainless steel non-ventilated inserts borrowed from the GT-R for genuinely better heat rejection.

The standard GT kit uses rubber dust seals, which work great for all-year street use but can melt under sustained extreme load. The GT-S sidesteps that entirely by using the GT-R's internal seal design, so you get GT-R-level heat resistance in a kit priced closer to the GT.
