A perfect case of little part, big change! Having these Shifter Cable Bushings for 3+ years on our Blue Si, we can attest to the improvement from changing out the sloppy factory rubber to Acuity's mix acetal and aluminum spherical bushing. The shift action between the gates became a lot more direct and sure feeling.
Would certainly recommend this increase one's joy of rowing through the gears!

I recently ordered the Acuity Shifter Cable Linkage Bushings, Centering Spring, Shifter Rocker from Humza, and a friend tossed in the base bushing. It was a pain in my butt getting into the shifting cable assembly. These upgrades deliver a fantastic and budget-friendly solution for a more precise and solid shifting experience. The reduction in lateral play, the shortened gear throw, the enhanced mechanical feel and crispiness became immediately noticeable after the installation. It's truly a great upgrade that brings a newfound enjoyment to both the installation process and everyday driving. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an improved driving experience!

Another quality item from Acuity, holding the bushings in your hands the quality vs. stock is evident. Honestly not sure I can discern the changes in shifting, but with the full Acuity shift kit things are very firm and precise. BUT here's the public service announcement. Make sure you follow the instructions. Watch the video (don't skip ahead as he blathers on about Type R) and read the PDF. Make SURE you disconnect the cable clips in the engine bay, because esp. with older cables, there is a good chance you are going to wreck them no matter how careful you are swapping the bushings over. New cables will cost you $150 CAD in parts and about $600 CAD in dealer labour, and you will also need a Tow truck to get to there if the cable is full snapped. Otherwise maybe you can limp there. For this reason, if you have an older car or you are impatient, maybe give this part a miss. Otherwise it's another good piece of kit. PS. if you think you can change broken cables yourself, apparently it's a full Under-the-Car job...

These shift cable bushing are a must buy for you 10th gen civic (6mt). They make shifting feel much tighter and really help fix the slop that the oem bushings have. I did this mod along with base bushings for the shift assembly and a new centering spring so I’m not too sure exactly how much these helped out but the combination of these three mods completely changed the feel of the shifting for the better.
