27WON's hybrid intake is a fully enclosed system built from several pieces that work together, not a single generic plastic box. A shroud (painted black or real carbon) covers the full airbox and cleans up the driver's side chassis area, sealing against the factory hood seal to keep warm engine bay air out of the intake path entirely. Air is scooped from behind the grille through a larger inlet opening, then channels into the filter from a full 360 degrees with no restriction.
On a completely stock, untuned Civic Si, 27WON's own dyno testing showed peak wheel horsepower up 7whp and torque arriving roughly 200 RPM earlier in the band, with consistent gains from about 3750 RPM onward across multiple runs. With tuning and supporting mods, real-world gains should be higher.
Servicing is genuinely simple: four bolts hold the shroud down, and a single clamp releases the filter for cleaning or replacement. The shroud is also interchangeable after the fact — start with painted, switch to carbon later, or paint it yourself in any color.
