Important: Please verify wheel fitment/clearance before ordering. All 27WON big brake kits are custom made/packaged to order and cannot be returned due to wheel fitment issues. Designed for use with 18" or larger wheels; OEM FK8/FL5/DE5 wheels do not require a spacer. Minimum rotor thickness is 30mm before replacement is required — rotors can be turned down on a lathe but not past that minimum.

Honda's factory fixed-caliper Brembo setup on the FK8, FL5, and DE5 already beats a floating-caliper design, but there's still room for more. 27WON built this all-new front 6-piston Big Brake Kit around a larger aluminum 6-piston caliper for more thermal capacity and a slightly larger rotor, with staggered piston sizing for better balance and pad wear, and stainless steel pistons that resist heat far better than standard steel to reduce the chance of boiling your brake fluid.

The kit starts with a two-piece 355mm slotted rotor from the outset — lighter than a one-piece design, more serviceable since you can replace just the outer ring without swapping the hub, and slotted to help exhaust gases escape from under the pad during hard braking. DOT-approved stainless steel brake lines finish the job Honda started, replacing the remaining rubber sections that can feel mushy under hard braking.

Note: Supplied "blue sport" pads are intended for spirited street use. For track use, 27WON recommends race-specific pads, purchasable as the "Additional Race Pad Set" option on this listing. Pairing this front BBK with 27WON's upgraded rear brake pads is also recommended for improved brake balance.
