Even left untouched, the 2020+ Honda Civic Type R has one of the best factory manual transmission shifters in any car at any price point, that's a fact. However us being us, we won't leave it at that! We are now selling this Honda OEM part that is compatible for ALL 2016-2021 Honda Civic six-speed manual trims, paired up with Acuity Instrument add-ons that make it even more fantastic!
The shift knob will sit 1" lower (nearly 2" lower if you add an Acuity POCO shift knob), the throw/distance between each gear will be shorter, the gate-spacing between gears will be reduced, and there will be increased effort moving from gear-to-gear. Overall, a much more precise, tactile feel. What's included:

*Shifter Cable Bushings that go on top of the transmission can also be purchased separately. They're not necessary, but worth it!*
This shifter combination gets you a taste of what the full shifter would feel like, but at less than half the cost! Don't get us wrong, the Acuity Adjustable Short Shifter is mechanical brilliance; you cannot match it with an OEM shifter as it sits at the top shelf with any aftermarket manual transmission shifter that is engineered to deliver the bolt-action rifle like feeling. The full shifter is also adjustable, which this is not. However, we understand that not everyone can or is willing to spend to spend close to $500 USD. This combination will satisfy your desire for crisper shifts!

one of the best upgrades i’ve done to the car. i wanted a feel that was just a little better than the oem si shifter and this delivered. the shifts are a lot more direct now and that 2nd gear crunch is now gone. A+ would recommend to any 10th gen owner 💪🏼
Just installed this kit last night and it is absolutely an upgrade everyone needs for the 10th gen Si. Pair this with a weighted shift knob (mine is 480g) and it is the perfect balance between sporty aggression but also a daily driver feel.
For those not looking to go on track, I 100% recommend this over the full acuity shift kit. Will save $100+ when compared to the Acuity for a perfect OEM+ shifter!
I installed this kit on my 2020 Si and the difference is night and day. Shifts are shorter and everything just feels tighter.
Being able to purchase all the essential Acuity parts in addition to the 2020 Type R shifter assembly (which itself has a shorter throw than the Type R shifter from prior years) is fsntastic. It saved me a headache in procuring each of these pieces separately and ensuring I had everything I needed.
Lastly, there are plenty of videos online to help with installing the shifter assembly, and acuity themselves have in-depth videos for their own products. This was one of the first significant modifications I did myself, and I couldn't be happier.
