Ultra Racing Trunk Strut Brace | 16-21 Civic Sedan, Si Sedan

Brilliant design by Ultra Racing that preserves most of the usefulness of the trunk cargo space vs. alternative cross designs. Well constructed by Ultra as usual ... and the shipping by Unity is top notch. My postie may not talk to me for a while though... it's a big old package!!!

Had a chance to test out the ultra racing rear trunk strut brace; and man is it amazing. Not only does it look good but gets rid of that loose feeling in the rear end for high speed corners; perfectly paired with the whiteline 22mm rear sway bar.

I wanted a rear strut bar not realizing the suspension geometry on these cars lol. Our struts are bolted from the outside up so there is no possible option for a trunk strut bar.

After looking around and finding this I knew I had to have it. It uses 4 mounting points and all new hardware is included. It is a 2 person install as it will greatly help.

Install itself was easy and I did trim some of the trunk side liner to make for a cleaner install. The floor mounts the passenger side hole I had to enlarge it very slightly just enough for the supplied bolt to pass through.

I had drilled two holes in the trunk floor mat in order to use the floormats for some cushioning and also a clean instal.

Overall rear end tightened up without compromising trunk space when seats are folded down.

Also the oem trunk mat still fits with no issues!

Definitely an awesome replacement for the traditional rear strut bar.
