The FL5 Civic Type R suffers from a common streetcar issue: brake master cylinder flex. This happens because the thin sheet metal in the firewall flexes while pressing on the brake pedal. On track, that leads to a vague feeling in the brake pedal. Verus developed this kit to fix the issue by dramatically reducing that movement.

This is a great addition to your CTR if you track the car or want an improved brake pedal feel — Verus saw a reduction in deflection of roughly 76% with the brace compared to OEM.

These units are produced in-house on 5-axis CNC machines in Indianapolis, IN, bright dip anodized, laser engraved in-house, and proudly made in the USA.
