PTP's original lava blanket has been the standard since 2017, followed by the Black Lava version in 2019. The Hybrid represents their latest step forward: a hard-lag-style outer shield combined with their proven lava fabric insulation layer underneath. In direct comparison testing, we've measured meaningfully lower exterior surface temperatures on the Hybrid than on the standard lava blanket — the same core benefits (reduced turbo lag, cooler intake temps, protected under-hood components) with an even tighter grip on heat.
