Every subframe mounting bolt on your Civic sits inside a factory gap of roughly 2mm — enough clearance for the subframe to shift slightly under load, which shows up as rattling, wobble over uneven pavement, and a duller connection between the chassis and the road. Spoon's Rigid Collar Kit inserts directly into that gap, taking up the slack around the bolts for a noticeably tighter, more locked-down fit.

The collars are machined from a proprietary alloy developed and endurance-race-tested by Spoon Sports, formulated to slightly crush and conform to the mating surfaces for maximum contact without deforming under load or becoming so hard the surfaces simply slide against each other. Each kit includes a tube of specially formulated grease to prevent galling between the dissimilar metals during installation.
