Honda's 1.5L turbo Civic is notoriously susceptible to heat-soak, especially on the factory intercooler — excessive heat-soak raises detonation risk and costs real power as charge air and cylinder temperatures climb, a problem that only gets worse with spirited driving or increased power output. PRL's intercooler upgrade tackles this directly with a dense, 550+ horsepower-rated (PRL has pushed it past 600) 25.5x4x6.3" bar-and-plate core and machined billet aluminum end tanks.

It bolts into the factory mounting points with PRL's embossed end tanks, so there's no cutting or custom fabrication required, and the kit ships with every piece of hardware needed for a complete install.
