PRL's oiled cone filters use double-layer woven cotton with deep, dense pleats to boost filtration surface area by 10-15%, letting more air reach the combustion chamber without sacrificing filtration — the cotton weave still traps particles as small as 5 microns. A stainless steel mesh casing resists denting and adds real strength for the conditions a cone filter actually lives in.

The rubber base is bonded through a four-step, low-pressure injection molding process that virtually eliminates the rubber seepage that can choke airflow up to 25% on filters made with cheaper methods. That same flexible base creates a consistent, airtight seal, absorbs vibration, and holds up through millions of heat cycles. A lightweight, sensor-friendly filter lubricant creates a slight positive charge against the stainless mesh, attracting dust particles onto the mesh itself so the cotton stays clear for maximum airflow.
