Overview

PRL's Cobra Cold Air Intake System for the 2022-2025 Honda Civic Si 1.5T is a complete cold air solution engineered to bring maximum performance and clean, aggressive induction sound to your 1.5L turbocharged platform. This system pulls fresh, dense air from the lower driver side fender well—well outside the engine bay—to promote cooler IATs and more consistent power delivery.

Engineered for both performance testing and everyday drivability, this intake system delivers dependable gains with the same proven quality behind every PRL product.

Performance Gains

Dyno testing confirms that even without a tune, this system brings measurable improvements in power, response, and sound. Tested on a completely stock Civic Si without tuning, PRL's Cobra intake delivered up to:

  • +16 horsepower

  • +9 lb-ft of torque

  • Gains sustained throughout much of the RPM range

  • Peak improvements measured at key points in the powerband

    Great choice for an intake!

    Intake works good, does the job of bringing in colder air keeping intake and engine temps down(average 70F intake and 175F engine over a 15 hour highway drive. P.S. I have the 27won Intercooler and charge pipe kit as well, which is why intake temps are so low!!) I just got back from a 4 day trip to Montreal, drove there and back, almost half of the drive there was in the rain unfortunately. Everything was good though, the air filter did get fairly wet, enough so that I was a bit concerned about taking in some water, but even after 6 hours of driving in the rain there was no issues, car sat outside overnight at the hotel and started up with no issues in the morning, no misfires that I noticed and my knock count/knock control was all staying at normal values the whole time. Installation wasn’t overly difficult, more so just tedious, having another person to help with guiding the bottom half of the intake in helps a lot, install was no more than 45 mins including taking the old one out. Sounds great while driving, just as loud as the PRL Short ram intake, just a slightly different pitch, and the turbo blowoff echoes/lasts longer than the PRL Short ram intake. Very minor power difference pre tune, but I can see big gains from this intake with a proper tune!
