Honda's turbo Civic is notoriously susceptible to heat-soak, especially on the factory intercooler — excessive heat-soak raises detonation risk and costs real power as charge air and cylinder temperatures climb, a problem that only gets worse with spirited driving or increased power output. PRL's billet intercooler upgrade tackles this with a dense 26.5x3.5x7.25" bar-and-plate core rated for 550+ horsepower, increasing surface area by 85% and internal flow by 83% over the factory unit.

Billet machined aluminum end tanks maximize efficiency while bolting into the factory mounting points and using all factory air ducts and shrouds — no cutting, fitting, or trimming required, consistent with the rest of PRL's product line.
